The Art Department at Long Beach City College is one of the largest art departments in the California Community College system, and as such, is dedicated to providing students with the finest, most comprehensive introduction to the arts possible. Toward that end, we have brought together a strong corps of professional artists and educators, dedicated to developing a comprehensive foundation for students to explore their innate creativity.

LBCC Gallery Exhibitions "Caroline Clerc 'Swarm' & Something In The Air" opened Tuesday January 12 and runs through February 12 with an opening reception on January 12th from 7pm–8:30pm. 'Something In The Air' features the works of Marc Bell, Jennifer Celio, Adam Helms, Margaret Nielsen, & Aaron Sandnes.

Art 12ad, Gallery and Exhibiton Design is being offered this Spring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am — 11:50am. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to study with LBCC Gallery Director, Habib Kheradyar.
